Ballerina Pictures

Molly the Ballerina

Molly just loves ballet class! We opted for a non-traditional ballet look this morning. Usually, it's got to be the pink or black leotard with the ballet skirt with her hair up in a bun (HER request!). But, today, she felt like whipping out the blue! Parents are able to view the class during the last 5 minutes, every other week. We love watching our little ballerina!

St. Patrick's Day Photos

St Patrick's Day

The Leprechauns were at it again at the Fox household! The girls watched in amazement as the white milk turned turned green as it entered their glasses right before their eyes! Of course, the green milk also made the scrambled eggs green (plus the zested zucchini added in), as well as the evenings mashed potatoes! Those pesky leprechauns also put glitter on the girls coloring pages and left glitter feet prints on their school work! It was a great day!

Activities

Some fun pictures of Amelya at gymnastics and Molly at ballet class, as well as Norah doing what she loves!

School Days Pictures

School Days

This January, Molly started attending Preschool through the park district program. It gives her a chance to be independent of Amelya, which we discovered she needed after being very shy (not normal for her!) at 2 functions without her big-sister-security-blanket. So, the class is working wonders, and Molly successfully went on a play date without Amelya and had a great time. Her teachers love her, tell us how fun she is in class (like we didn't know that) and she is often the teachers helper because she is one of the only kids who already knows all of her letters, colors and shapes! We still continue her preschool lessons at home.

Amelya is doing wonderfully at homeschool. She has advanced to 1st grade math and is reading at a 2nd to 3rd grade level. She likes reading chapter books - especially ones about Tinker Bell! She has wonderful printing and wants to learn cursive. She is a great speller and has a terrific memory. She really enjoys science - we learned about plants and seeds last week (see the pics) and are learning about fish this week.

Norah is a monkey - she likes to climb on everything! She laughs a lot and plays very well, even by herself. She loves to dance and always wants the music on; she likes to be on stage and in costume! She LOVES her sisters and tries to do everything they do...she's growing up too fast already!

Outside in February!

Rare Day in February!

It was a rare February day in our neck of the woods! The temperature rose to about 60 degrees, the snow melted and we sent the girls out to play! What a nice day!!!!

Annual Valentines Day Tea

Once again, it was time to celebrate the love in the air with the Annual Fox Girls Tea Party. Since V-Day was on a Saturday this year, Daddy was able to join the party for the very first time! This was also Norah's first year of true participation! We all had a great day!

We dined on cucumber sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches and peanut butter sandwiches, along with berry tea and a fruit salad garnished with whipped cream. Don't forget the heart-shaped red finger jello!

Crucial to note: While Daddy did a fabulous job of photographing the decor, he neglected to take pictures of all of the participants. BUT, we were indeed all there!
